Karakalpakstan hosted a solemn event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was attended by members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, deputies of the Jokargy Kenes, heads of ministries, organizations, enterprises, education institutions, human rights bodies, students, representatives of public organizations and the media.

The national anthems of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan were played.

The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbayev spoke about the significance of the Constitution in ensuring human rights and freedoms, improving the welfare of the people and congratulated the participants of the event on the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Basic Law.

In all regions of the country, including Karakalpakstan, compatriots are solemnly awarded a commemorative badge “30th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan”, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of November 8, 2022.
