Tashkent will host the International Conference “Green Development: The Experience of New Uzbekistan and Global Trends” as part of International Partnership Initiatives Week.

The event will be attended by the Deputy Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Jusipbek Kazbekov, Member of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament, Lord Wharton, Director of the IUCN Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Boris Erg (Switzerland), GIZ Programme Manager Caroline Milow (Germany), Jinha Kim (South Korea), Project Manager at the Global Green Growth Institute in Uzbekistan, and others.

During the event, foreign experts will deliver speeches on several current topics, such as environmental protection, conservation of biological diversity, expansion of protected natural areas, rational use of natural resources, cooperation in green restoration and combating climate change, food system, land use and ecosystem restoration in Uzbekistan, and others.
