Uzbekistan – Greece business forum was held within the framework of the International Food and Beverage Exhibition “Food Expo Greece 2018”.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the forum was attended by representatives of ministries and departments in the sphere of trade, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the “Greek Enterprise” Export and Import Promotion Agency, as well as over 100 Greek companies in the sphere of industry, construction industry, equipment manufacturing, agriculture, food, textile and light industries and others.

Following the results of presentations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Small businesses’ and private entrepreneurship’s export promotion fund and “Uzsharobsanoat” JSC, the Greek side became acquainted with the results of economic reforms in Uzbekistan, with favorable conditions created for investment and business in the country.

During the business forum, the main perspective branches of the Uzbek economy were presented. B2B meetings of representatives of business circles of the two countries were held. Further directions and steps on establishment and expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Greece in trade, economic and investment fields were discussed.

Within the framework of the business forum, an Agreement of cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
