Amman, Jordan, hosted the Asian Wrestling Championships U17, U23.

The U17 Greco-Roman wrestling team of Uzbekistan won five gold, three silver, and two bronze medals and is the leader in the team standings. Umidjon Karomov, Khusniddin Abdukarimov, Sardor Kholmirzayev, Fayozbek Eshmirzayev, Bekhruzbek Valiyev won gold, Khojiakbar Kuchkorov, Farrukh Yuldoshev, Saidamir Nematov won silver, and Shokhjakhon Shavkatov and Fakhrikamol Komiljonov won bronze medals.

Women’s wrestling competitions will take place today. Then, the freestyle wrestlers will take to the mat. The championships will run until June 30.
