An event, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov’s birth was held at Tashkent State University of Economics.

Participants of the event, organized jointly by the Uzbek State Musical Theatre named after Mukimiy,Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, ”Jahon adabiyoti” magazine and a number of organizations noted that it is difficult to overestimate the contribution of outstanding statesman and politician Islam Karimov to promotion and strengthening independence and development of the country.

The memory of the First President of Uzbekistan, who loved his Motherland and people, youth of the country as his children, started implementation of reforms for ensuring peaceful life, and his noble deeds will always remain in the hearts.

A documentary film dedicated to the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan was demonstrated at the event.
