Wikipedia has created a section in Uzbek about one of the greatest poets of the world literature, Muhammad Fuzuli.

According to Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan, international electronic encyclopedia Wikipedia has created a section in Uzbek about one of the greatest poets of the world literature, Muhammad Fuzuli.

This section provides extensive information about life, creativity, works, ghazals, musical works written on the poems of the great poet, activities carried out in Azerbaijan to perpetuate his memory.

Director of Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan Samir Abbasov noted that the legacy and creativity of Muhammad Fuzuli are interesting and valuable for all people. Fuzuli's personality and art are at the very top of Azerbaijani literature. 

Information is provided about Fuzuli district named after the great poet, as well as the Center for Azerbaijan Culture, Education and Research named after Muhammad Fuzuli established at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi.

According to Azerbaijan Cultural Center, the exchange of experience and cooperation in this direction is being carried out between Wikipedia volunteers and employees of the Central Scientific Library of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

This year, by the order of the Center, Muhammad Fuzuli’s works are being translated into Uzbek and publication of poet's works in Uzbek is planned in Tashkent.
