Grant contracts within the framework of Japan’s Grant Assistance Projects have been signed, in Tashkent.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the ministries of Health, Public Education, Finance, Investments and Foreign Trade.

Since 1995, within the framework of this program, medical and educational institutions, local authorities and non-profit organizations in Uzbekistan implemented 400 projects worth almost $29 million.

During this ceremony 6 projects worth a total of 483,502 US dollars were signed with Fergana and Karakalpak branches of the Republican Specialized Science-Practical Medical Oncology and Radiology Center, Gulistan Center of Obstetrics, Farish District Medical Association, and the Specialized Educational Institution for Children with Hearing Loss and Visual Impairments under Fergana regional department of public education on Project for Provision of Medical Equipment.
