A delegation of officials and entrepreneurs, led by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, arrived in Fergana on a two-day working visit.

Today, the heads of Fergana and Sverdlovsk regions will hold meetings in a contracted and expanded format. Bilateral agreements on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, social, humanitarian and other fields will be signed between Fergana and Sverdlovsk regions.

Members of the delegation visited the Monument to the Grieving Mother in the Park of Patriotism. Yevgeny Kuyvashev and members of the delegation laid a wreath and flowers at the monument. The guests visited the eco-city being created in Fergana, got acquainted with the construction of the complex. Tree planting ceremony took place with the participation of Yevgeny Kuyvashev and other officials.
