The enterprise for exporting fruits and vegetables, Fruit Exim in Karmana district of Navoi region, was established in 2020. At first, the company was engaged only in the export of gourds. Since this year, their cultivation has also been established. As a result, 10 people were provided with permanent jobs.

“Hollar watermelons were grown on 6 hectares, and torpedo melons on 40 hectares”, said M. Mustafayev, head of the enterprise. “We hired people who know the secrets of farming well and got an excellent result. Currently, we export watermelons to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland.

Fruit Exim enterprise plans to collect up to 60 tons of products from each hectare, 40 tons will be exported, 20 tons will be sold in the domestic market.
