We learned about global trends in the media, topics of interest to our colleagues from other countries, and how many significant challenges facing the industry are being solved. In recent years, technologies, including artificial intelligence, have been actively developing. We are very interested in the opinions of our colleagues on how they see the future of the media sphere.
Particular attention was paid to attracting young people to the field. Student groups from 100 universities around the world were invited.
As part of the event, organized jointly with the UAE Government and global and local media, several problems in the sphere and opportunities for the future development of the media industry were discussed. Among the participants were representatives of leading companies and the authors of new innovative startups. One of the participants was a delegation from Uzbekistan National News Agency. It held meetings and talks and discussed the possibility of concluding profitable deals with representatives of prestigious news agencies and various companies. A meeting was held with Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for the Global Media Congress.
