Global Media Congress 2023: Education, Excellence and Discussion
21:07 / 2023-11-16

At the Global Media Congress 2023 exhibition in the United Arab Emirates, some discussed issues received special attention. In particular, reports were heard on the educational direction, media, and stable news projects.

– Today, the eyes of the whole world are directed to Abu Dhabi, where the Global Media Congress is taking place, – says Talal Al Hamad, manager of the online publication “inarabia.com” (Saudi Arabia). – By participating in the event, I became familiar with the activities of many media outlets. We are interested in cooperation with Uzbekistan National News Agency, also presenting its pavilion here today. I know Uzbekistan well as a country with an ancient, rich history and culture. The people here are very kind and benevolent. Therefore, establishing collaboration between UzA and the Saudi Arabian media will increase our capabilities in the media sphere.

The exhibition is of particular interest to guests and participants, bringing together media representatives from all over the world in one place. We wish your Agency good luck in demonstrating the journalistic potential of your country.

The role of cybersecurity in the global media was discussed at the conference as part of the Global Media Congress 2023.

– I won’t be mistaken if I say that today, the media have become such a force that they can rule the world, – says Turkish journalist Seyfettin Boğazlı. – Today, the media greatly influence politics, economics, and others. A country with poorly developed media may lose its place on the world stage. Concepts such as information security, information attacks, and cybersecurity are becoming increasingly popular. Because today, the fight against them is difficult. In this regard, organizing and holding events like the current one provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and find ways to solve problems that are becoming global today. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank my Uzbek colleagues for staying in touch with us.

In the second area, dedicated to practical activities in the global media space, masterclasses were held on journalism, social media, content creation in sports, creative stories, script writing, taking and editing pictures using mobile phones, and managing social networks. During these sessions, leading experts shared their experiences. The Global Media Congress 2023 continues.
