UAE hosts Global Media Congress 2023.
Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan addressed the event.
As noted, the number of exhibiting companies and brands participating in this significant event increased by 33 percent compared to last year to 257, and the number of countries increased by 22 percent to 172. 31 countries are participating for the first time. In addition, this year, the total exhibition area increased by 78 percent and reached 32,000 square meters.
The world’s leading media companies and brands originally designed their pavilions and stands, demonstrating the quality and advantages of their products and services.
“I’m participating for the first time”, says Nargiza Numonova, Head of the Secretary-General’s Office of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. – The more I observe, the more I feel the scale of the project. I was delighted when I saw the Uzbekistan National News Agency stand. The media industry is rapidly developing in our country. This is evidenced by UzA’s participation in this prestigious event. Such events contribute to international cooperation development and help keep abreast of the latest developments in the field. I wish UzA good luck in popularizing the media sphere of Uzbekistan in the world.
The first day of the three-day event featured an international panel discussion on content creation to address climate challenges, focusing on the global ecosystem.

By uniting the potential of the participants, we will be able to drive the sector's evolution, find effective solutions, and open new horizons in the media sphere”.
Presentations on content evaluation, format determination, media futures, key content delivery technologies, and others were held. Reports on new technologies, virtual production, and cooperation were heard. At the workshops, participants discussed issues of sustainable development and the role of the media in addressing climate issues, the potential of the younger generation, and much more.
Almost 800 media representatives from 58 countries are covering the Global Media Congress 2023. Among them is the Uzbekistan National News Agency – UzA.
