This was stated by the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressing the SCO Summit in Samarkand on September 16.

According to Anadolu Agency, Türkiye is represented at the Presidential level for the first time at the SCO Summit. The Turkish Leader is taking part in the summit with the status of a special guest.

President Erdogan also recalled calls for the reform of the world order, which will form a fairer world agenda.

According to him, the status of a dialogue partner has allowed Türkiye to use the SCO platform as a “window” for cooperation with Asian countries over the past 10 years.

“Ankara's goal is to form a belt of peace both in the region and beyond, thanks to diplomatic efforts based on the values of humanism”, President Erdogan stressed.
