The delegation of the GIZ Office in Tashkent visited the Surkhandarya region and got acquainted with the activities of Termez State University.

The delegation met with the Rector of the University A. Madrakhimov. It was proposed to establish close cooperation with leading higher education institutions of Germany.

The Head of the GIZ Office in Uzbekistan, Director of the GIZ Regional Program “Promoting legal statehood in Central Asia” Jörg Pudelka informed about large higher educational institutions and law universities in Germany. The parties exchanged views in establishing cooperation with these educational institutions, exchange of experience, attracting foreign specialists in the industry.

The sides discussed issues of developing new projects in the legal field, creating new directions at the law faculty of Termez State University and GIZ. It is planned to create a joint office in the city of Tashkent for legal services and advice.
