According to tradition, events “Presidential Christmas Tree” are held across the country at the end of the year for children from orphanages, children left without parental care, as well as children whose parents died defending the borders of the Motherland.

The President’s gifts prepared for children under 12 include sweets, school supplies and the “Children’s Encyclopedia” (a total of 21 gifts).

This year, 980 children of charity homes, children’s townships, family orphanages and SOS children’s mahallas over 12 years old will be given New Year gifts, including modern tablets.

Thus, 9 thousand 70 presidential gifts have been prepared and sent to the regions this year. They will be delivered to 10 regions of the country by Uzbekistan Airways, and to Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Tashkent regions – by road, accompanied by the State Traffic Safety Administration.

Festive congratulations and gifts from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be solemnly handed over to children at the “Presidential Christmas Tree” events, which will be held with the participation of territorial hokimiyats on December 29-30 this year.
