A delegation led by the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Khalilillo Turakhodjayev, arrived in Bonn, Germany.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the Secretary General of the German Monopolies Commission, Marc Bataille.

At the meeting, issues of studying the mechanisms and practical experience of Germany in regulating natural monopolies were discussed.

The parties also considered issues such as the development of a competitive environment in various sectors of the German economy and analyzed existing systemic problems and mechanisms for solving them.

In addition, the delegation members met with the leadership of the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur), which carries out management and regulation in key German sectors.

At the meeting, the Committee delegation studied German practice in developing competition by ensuring a rational approach in electricity, gas supply, telecommunications, postal and rail communications.
