Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Germany participated in the forum “Qualified personnel for the healthcare industry: Focus on Central Asia” held at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
Welcoming the participants of the event, Mirco Nowak, Chairman of the Eastern Europe Working Group of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, drew attention to the growing number of people wishing to invest or open a business in Uzbekistan. In this context, the forum is of great importance for both Germany and the countries of Central Asia.
German experts recognized that the qualifications of Uzbek medical workers are highly valued in Germany. In addition to professional knowledge, they have a good command of the German language and successfully pass various test programs. It was noted that today, dozens of experienced medical workers from Uzbekistan work in Germany.
In addition, ambassadors from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan discussed the possibility of attracting qualified industry personnel to Germany.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov addressed the event and spoke about the positive changes associated with external labor migration in the country in recent years and the opportunities that are being created for Uzbekistan citizens who want to work abroad. He also noted that thanks to consistent reforms, the issue of training medical personnel to work in Germany was also taken under special attention and control by the state.
