Hokim of Surkhandarya region Tura Bobolov has received specialists from the German consulting company “management4health GmbH” who arrived in Termez to prepare a feasibility study for the project on modernizing medical education and professional development.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on organizing training courses and a simulation center for paramedical workers in the city of Termez. Here citizens of Uzbekistan, as well as neighboring countries, in particular Afghanistan, will receive medical education and improve their qualifications.

The experts will study the region’s needs for training and retraining of nurses, construction and renovation of new buildings for the training center and dormitory, as well as the possibility of training Afghan mid-level medical workers and students.

The German consulting company plans to organize a center for training and retraining of nurses in the city of Termez.
