Representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan visited Tbilisi to enhance collaboration in tourism.

At the meeting with the leadership of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, the Uzbekistan delegation informed in detail about the tourism potential of the country, the conditions created for tourists, and the existing transport and logistics system.

The parties agreed to organize an info tour and B2B meetings in September 2023 with the participation of Georgian tour operators, media representatives, and bloggers. The exchange of experience on the organization of domestic tourism in Uzbekistan has been established.

The National Tourism Administration stated they would provide practical assistance in organizing road shows in Georgian cities to popularize Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.

In the first six months of 2023, the number of tourists from Georgia doubled compared to last year.
