By the relevant resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gayane Umerova was appointed Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation.

By Resolution No. PR-177 of June 1, 2023, G.Umerova is simultaneously the Chairperson of the National Commission of Uzbekistan for UNESCO.

Before her appointment, she worked as Executive Director of the Art and Culture Development Foundation and Secretary General of the National Commission of Uzbekistan for UNESCO under the Cabinet of Ministers.
