The Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan hosted an event dedicated to the opening of Gastronomic Tourism Association of Uzbekistan.
The main tasks of the Association are to contribute to taking a worthy place in the world gastronomic tourism market, creation of infrastructure of the world's popular type of tourism, development of Uzbekistan gastronomic tourism concept, organization of various events in this direction, in particular, exhibitions, festivals, forums, workshops, scientific conferences, roundtable discussions and contests.
Delicious Uzbekistan International Festival of National Dishes will be held annually to extend the tourism season in Uzbekistan, attract international travel agencies to this event, organization of gastronomic tours in the country’s regions.
The Association and the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Milliy Tiklanish reached an agreement on cooperation in preparation of draft resolutions to improve the quality of service in Uzbekistan’s gastronomic tourism.
A presentation of modern Uzbek dishes and desserts prepared from local products by non-traditional methods was held at the event.
