Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan Farkhod Ibragimov met with the Head of the Lesta Games Malik Khatazhayev. The prospects of cooperation in the development of the gaming industry in Uzbekistan were discussed.

Lesta Games is an international group of companies specializing in developing and releasing video games.

Significant achievements in developing the gaming industry in Uzbekistan were noted at the meeting. Thus, by the end of 2023, IT Park residents exported gaming products worth $49 million, 3.7 times higher than in 2022.

The meeting participants also discussed benefits and support programs for IT and outsourcing companies, the country’s high human resources potential, and other advantages that make Uzbekistan attractive for developing global business in information technology.

Representatives of Lesta Games shared their proposals and vision for attracting foreign enterprises to Uzbekistan, improving the skills of specialists, and further developing the export of IT services.
