The delegation of experts in water use and urban water supply of Uzbekistan becomes familiar with the most effective Israel water management systems.

The delegation of experts in water use and urban water supply of Uzbekistan becomes familiar with the most effective Israel water management systems. The professional visit was organized by the World Bank with the assistance of Israel’s Weitz Center for sustainable development.

During the visit, Uzbekistan specialists will become familiar with experience in municipal water supply and sewerage services, quality assurance, accounting, billing and public services, water resources reuse, water treatment and water safety. They can study proven principles of water resources management, as well as innovative technologies and ideas during visits to cities and facilities across the country, meetings with leading experts of water management of Israel.

The delegation includes specialists of the Ministry of Public Utilities, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Inspection of Drinking Water Monitoring under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World Bank. The experience will contribute to further improvement of Uzbekistan’s water resources management system.

On May 27-29, specialists from Uzbekistan in agriculture can become acquainted with Israel irrigation technologies and establish direct links with companies and experts at Uzbekistan – Israel agro forum, in Tashkent.
