The Uzbekistan futsal team has, ahead of schedule, advanced to the 2024 Asian Cup to be held in Thailand.

Uzbekistan’s futsal players completed the group stage, which took place in Fergana. First, they beat the Colombian team with a score of 6:1, and then the Malaysian team with a score of 4:3.

In the qualifying stage of the Continental Cup, 32 teams will compete, divided into eight groups. The teams that take first and second places in their group will receive the right to participate in the continental championship.

After the second round, the national teams of Uzbekistan and Iraq, having scored six points each in Group G, became participants in the Asian Cup ahead of schedule.

Tomorrow, in the final round match between Uzbekistan and Iraq, the group winner will be determined, but both teams already have been advanced to the Asian Cup in Thailand.
