The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed current issues of trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.

The successful holding of the 3rd meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, as well as the Uzbekistan – Russia Business Forum, held on December 1-2 this year in Samarkand, was noted.

An agreement was reached to maintain regular contacts to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of bilateral agreements and economic projects.
