An exhibition titled “In Art: From Tradition to the Future” by Turkish artists Emine Solak and Setenay Alpsoy has opened at the Tashkent House of Photography. The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Association of Businesspeople of Uzbekistan and Türkiye – UTID.
The first hall features works by artist Emine Solak, inspired by ebru, miniature, and fine ornamentation. The art combines ancient style with modern compositional solutions, creating an atmosphere of tranquility, contemplation, and spiritual cleansing through the natural movement of color and water. Her works reflect an enduring aesthetic, with soft hues conveying graceful artistic humility.

The second hall is filled with paintings by Setenay Alpsoy, dedicated to the spiritual dialogue between the city and the individual. The artist captures the rhythm of the city, the surrounding movement, the order and disorder within the human psyche, and the exchange between memory and imagination. His works transform the viewer from a mere observer into a participant, awakening an inner conversation.

This exhibition has become a platform for exploring shared roots in the artistic thinking of both nations, blending historical memory with a modern worldview. It was unveiled not only as a heritage but also as a source of inspiration for the future.
