Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Republican Turkmen Cultural Center hosted a spiritual and enlightenment event “Friendship of peoples – the wealth of the country” dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the 26th anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan.
The Uzbek and Turkmen peoples have lived in friendship and harmony since ancient times, and cultural ties have been developing. December 10, 1992, went down in history as a significant day in the history of the independence of Uzbekistan. On this day, the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted.
At the event, the special role of all national cultural centers in ensuring peace and tranquility of the Motherland was noted, the contribution of our fellow citizens of Turkmen nationality to strengthening friendship, solidarity, a culture of mutual understanding, and tolerance was highly appreciated. The history and culture of Uzbeks and Turkmen have common roots, the traditions of the two peoples are developing in the same way, the scientific and creative heritage of our ancestors has become common property, and the activation of cultural and humanitarian relations is a strong foundation for cooperation.
