Samarkand Regional Department of Tourism and Sports has taken such an initiative in connection with the extension of the winter holidays for students of secondary schools, academic lyceums, vocational schools and higher education institutions until January 24 this year.

Until January 24, students can enter all the historical sites and museums in the region without buying tickets.

According to the Deputy Hokim of Samarkand region, head of the Main Department for Tourism and Sports R. Qobilov, the goal is to create opportunities for young people to spend their free time meaningfully during the holidays, to get acquainted with the history and culture of the country.
