Famous actor Franco Nero arrived in Tashkent to attend the 13th Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”.

At the meeting with movie fans, the actor shared his childhood memories and talked about his creative path.

“Since childhood, I wanted to become an actor”, says Franco Nero. – After graduation I was engaged in music, creativity. Later, after moving to Rome, I got my first job as a photographer and ended up at the right time in the right place. I met with John Huston, who invited me to star in his film. After this film, in which I played the role of Lancelot, John saw in me an aspiring actor and advised me to develop my talent. He gave me assignments to study plays by William Shakespeare and play them on stage in English. I was lucky to get acquainted with famous film directors and actors who shared their experience with me.
