This was announced during a meeting between Azizjon Kamilov, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, and Stéphane Nomis, President of the French Judo Federation, held during the Paris Grand Slam 2026 tournament.

The parties assessed the current state of cooperation between the two countries’ federations. They also considered opportunities to strengthen relations and implement projects to enhance the international level of training for judokas.

Key areas of interaction identified at the meeting included the introduction of advanced methods from the French judo school, the integration of judo elements into educational programs, and the active involvement of French coaches working in Uzbekistan.
