On July 24, the Second International Tournament for the Prize of the President of Uzbekistan in wrestling was held at the Central Sports Complex named after Emile Anthoine in Paris, France.

The speakers at the opening ceremony highly appreciated the attention paid by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the development of sports in the country, including the traditional Kurash wrestling.

It was noted that this international tournament, organized in Paris, serves to increase the prestige of Kurash on the world stage, inherited from our ancestors, support the interest of young people in national sports, and create conditions for fans of this sport in the world.

More than 20 wrestlers from more than 15 countries of the European continent competed for victory in the Paris Tournament.

The strongest wrestlers won in their weight categories.

The winners who took first places in their weight categories received 3000 euros as a prize from the President of Uzbekistan, 2nd places – 2000 euros, 3rd places – 1000 euros.
