Fostering opportunities for lifelong learning
18:18 / 2024-04-25

Tashkent University of Applied Sciences hosted an International Forum on “Stimulating the opportunities of women and men for lifelong learning: achievements and problems”.

It was organized by the Committee for Family and Women, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as the Tashkent University of Applied Sciences.

The Chairman of the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozoda Parpiboyeva, participated in the forum. She noted that Uzbekistan has undergone enormous changes in ensuring equal rights for women and men, creating conditions for the population, including women, to receive higher education. The results showed that women can be not only housewives, but also skilled leaders in various fields.

Introducing innovative ideas and training new generation personnel with new thinking have also become priority tasks. To stimulate women’s and men’s opportunities for lifelong learning, it is necessary to exchange analytical information on reforms in science, education, integration with practical work, and to popularize cutting-edge experiments.

The event was attended by scientists from China, Japan, Korea, Türkiye, India, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, as well as scientists and researchers from Uzbekistan.
