Foreign trade turnover increases by 17.2%

In January-September 2018, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $ 23 044.7 million and increased, compared to the same period last year, by 17.2%.

In January-September 2018, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $ 23 044.7 million and increased, compared to the same period last year, by 17.2%. Exports amounted to $ 9 367.6 million (down 0.4%), imports to $ 13 677,1 million (growth rates 33.3%). The balance of foreign trade is minus $ 4 309,5 million.

According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, China and Russia have the largest share in the export of goods and services of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The share of these countries in total exports is 37.1%.

The exported goods to China and Russia include a group of energy carriers and petroleum products, chemical products and products from it, as well as food products.
