France hosts the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

As part of the festival, with the assistance of the National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC) of the French Ministry of Culture, a pitching session was held on “Talents of Central Asia”. Director from Uzbekistan Sherzod Nazarov took part in it with the film project “The Nurse”.

Young directors from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan also showed their work at the competition.

Meanwhile, representatives of the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan continue negotiations on creating films with film studios. Thus, during the meetings, the issue of cooperation on the film project of our director “The Nurse” was considered.
