During a telephone conversation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan discussed cooperation plans for 2024.

We discussed the expanding agenda of Uzbekistan – Türkiye comprehensive strategic partnership, overviewed the successful outcomes of 2023 and reviewed our plans for 2024”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel.

On 26-27 September 2023, a regular meeting of the Uzbekistan – Türkiye strategic planning group was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of the heads of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Türkiye Hakan Fidan. The parties summed up cooperation achievements and outlined short-term and long-term goals.
