Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi has arrived in Tashkent on an official visit.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov met the Chinese delegation at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

The Chinese Foreign Minister will attend a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, and hold several meetings with the heads of delegations of the SCO member states.

Tashkent will host the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the SCO member states on July 28-29.
