Foreign experts highly appreciate the opportunities and capacities created in Uzbekistan’s IT sector

Tashkent hosted the Offshore Outsourcing Tour.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan, started in Tashkent and continues in Samarkand on March 19-20.

“More than two hundred guests from 32 countries are showing serious interest in the development process of the IT sector of Uzbekistan at today’s event”, says Deputy Director of IT Park Uzbekistan Jakhongir Rajabov. “It is noteworthy that this forum will create the basis for increasing IT exports by $50 million by the end of this year. This will also ensure the employment of our talented youth, increase the export of services, and create new opportunities for industry development”.

During the event, representatives of international companies got acquainted with the country’s IT industry. Such events are planned to be held two to three times a year. After last year’s conference, many foreign entrepreneurs launched their activities in Uzbekistan. As a result, IT exports reached $344 million.

Over 200 representatives of foreign companies and organizations from Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates are participating in the Offshore Outsourcing Tour. International experts highly appreciate the opportunities, joint programs, and conditions created in the country for the industry’s development.

The forum participants discussed talent formation and innovation in education and the characteristics and interests of ITES business in the country. The outsourcing ecosystem was presented.
