A meeting took place between Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development, Fahriddin Boboyev, and a delegation led by Farid Ahmed Khan, Country Operations Manager at the Islamic Development Bank.

Prospects for cooperation were discussed in detail at the meeting. The parties exchanged views on the readiness of the planned projects, the feasibility studies, and the implementation deadlines.

The parties stressed the importance of simplifying financing processes and improving project effectiveness. The priority areas of cooperation – processing and expansion of the value chain, and issues of infrastructure modernization were considered.

The available master plans were analyzed, and suggestions were made for their inclusion in the Islamic Development Bank’s three-year work program.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to strengthen cooperation, support new initiatives, and continue joint projects aimed at sustainable agricultural development.
