For a New Life, for New Uzbekistan!

Today we are celebrating a big holiday in our country. Everyone celebrates the dearest to the heart holiday – Independence Day.

At such moments, representatives of the older generation thank fate for seeing the independence of the Motherland. They pray for the people's well-being and the country's prosperity. Gratitude for a peaceful, free life and prayers for the prosperity of the whole country contains something more. This can be explained by the fact that these days were, for so many people, our compatriots, just a dream, and not very many of them survived to this moment. And we should be delighted that we, our generation, and our contemporaries are lucky enough to live in an independent and prosperous country.

And the most essential thing in this is that peace and tranquility reign in the Motherland. There is no need to remember that in many countries, people dream of peace and tranquility, because now there is a war, and devastation, hunger, and chaos reign. How many children suffer from these wars, how many have matured ahead of time, and how many children have lost their parents and shelter? How many families dream of sitting at the same table with their relatives, talking heart-to-heart? This list can be continued indefinitely. All this makes us think and thank fate for the fact that we live under a peaceful sky. We do not need to worry about tomorrow, because we live in such a beautiful country as Uzbekistan.

However, life is life. There are also sad events, unpleasant issues, problems, and joyful, happy moments. But, if the country and the people are united, no problem is terrible for us. Nothing can frighten us. All questions eventually find their optimal solution. Joy reigns in every home. And we are all witnesses of how the people rejoice for their freedom and independence. Creative work is going on all over the country. The whole country has turned into a vast construction site. Everywhere, joy and celebration.

In connection with the celebration of Independence Day, people celebrate this joyful day in high spirits in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the capital under the motto “For new life, for New Uzbekistan!”. The Caravan of Culture, which includes well-known film and theater artists, writers, and poets, brings a festive mood to even the most remote corners of our Motherland. It is not difficult to notice the enthusiasm on the faces of the people of cities and villages, which pleases us all.

The state constantly appreciates the glorious work of people who are always in the service of the people, particularly the work of workers of culture and art. By the Decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on the eve of the 32nd Anniversary of the country’s independence, a group of representatives of the sphere was also awarded high awards from the Motherland.

Yesterday, in a solemn atmosphere, they were awarded the honorary titles “People’s Bakhshi of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “Honored Mentor of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the order “El-Yurt Khurmati”, “Fidokorona Khizmatlari Uchun”, “Mehnat Shuhrati”, “Dustlik”, and medals. It gave everyone an unforgettable experience.

Taking this opportunity, I congratulate all our compatriots who have received high awards, including workers of culture and art, on a double holiday. I wish you good health, long life, fruitful activities on the path to the prosperity of the Motherland!

I congratulate everyone on the holiday! May peace reign in the country, and our independence be eternal!
