Uzbekistan Football Association hosted an event on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Birodar Abduraimov and the 60th anniversary of Igor Shkvyrin.

The event was attended by Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Odil Abdurakhmonov, Head of UFA Abdusalom Azizov, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Adkham Ikromov, football veterans from neighboring countries, former stars of Uzbek football.

According to the relevant Decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Birodar Abduraimov was awarded “Mehnat Shukhrati” and Igor Shkvyrin –  “Dustlik” Orders.

It was noted that the knowledge and experience of both football specialists serve the development of sports in Uzbekistan, the formation of traditions of Uzbek football, increasing its prestige in the international arena, training talented players for national teams, educating the younger generation in the spirit of love and loyalty to the Motherland.
