The Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted an exhibition dedicated to the 32nd Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence under the motto “In the name of new life, in the name of New Uzbekistan!”.

This exhibition is called “Followers of Benkov”. It demonstrates the creative works of mentors of the Republican Specialized Art School named after Pavel Benkov and academicians of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The Republican Specialized Art School named after Pavel Benkov has a 105-year history and has made a worthy contribution to the development of world fine art. 

More than 300 works are presented at the exhibition, each with its own author’s handwriting. Works in painting and graphics, lacquer miniature, wood carving, sculpture, artistic ceramics, and historical theatrical costumes will undoubtedly serve as a kind of creative reference point for fine and applied art fans, novice artists, and students of a specialized school.
