The Defenders of Motherland Day and the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan are widely celebrated in Namangan region.

In this regard, a ceremony of laying flowers took place at the Monument to the Grieving Mother, located in the region’s center.

From early morning, representatives of the Regional Hokimiyat, the Department of Defense, law enforcement agencies, government and public organizations, large enterprises and institutions, media workers, and the general public gathered in the square. Military personnel of the Namangan garrison of the Eastern Military District lined up.

The Regional Hokim, head of the Military-Administrative Sector Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, congratulated all those present on the holiday.

The event participants, to the sounds of a military orchestra, laid flowers at the Monument to the Grieving Mother.
