On January 30, on the birthday of the First President of Uzbekistan, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Islam Karimov took place in Moscow, Russia.

The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov, Uzbekistan diplomats, as well as representatives of the Asia-Invest Bank.

The monument to Islam Karimov in Moscow was unveiled on 18 October 2018.
