A creative meeting dedicated to the anniversaries of Navoi and Babur’s birth took place in Russia.

The event was attended by well-known writers, cultural scientists, Navoi and Babur scholars. It was noted that on December 10-12, 2021, a scientific conference dedicated to the 580th anniversary of Alisher Navoi was held in Russia.

An interactive museum of Uzbek culture has been created in Friendship House in Russia. It was proposed to erect a monument to Alisher Navoi on the territory of the museum.

A member of the Union of Writers of Belarus I. Kuchiev from Uzbekistan informed the participants with his articles “Alisher Navoi: a great scholar of ancient times – a great scholar of modernity” and “Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur”. He also presented his book dedicated to Alisher Navoi “Five Steps to Eternity”.

Students performed ghazals of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in Uzbek and Russian.
