The 5th Islamic Solidarity Games kicked off in Türkiye on August 5.

According to the Ministry of Sports Development, in the women’s scratch race, Sofia Karimova won a bronze medal, while Nafosat Kuziyeva finished tenth.

Athletes from 57 countries will take part in the competition. Games will be held at eight venues.
