Uzbekistan national team members won two medals at the World Para Athletics Championships Paris 2023 first day.

Asila Mirzayorova, who defended the honor of Uzbekistan in the women’s long jump in the T11 class, recorded a result of 5.13 m and was awarded a gold medal. Kubaro Hakimova, who took part in women's shot put in the F41 class with a result of 9.83 m, won a silver medal. Uzbekistan athletes are the first para-athletes to receive licenses for the next Summer Paralympic Games in Paris next year.
