First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov received the Ambassador of Japan Takashi Hatori.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed practical aspects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan in the political, trade, economic, education, cultural and humanitarian spheres and deepening economic diplomacy.

The importance of bilateral efforts to find new ways and opportunities for developing trade, increasing exports and investment cooperation was noted. The Ambassador announced the growing interest of Japanese businesses in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan partners.

The parties also noted the importance of strengthening interaction in attracting Japanese experts to improve their skills and exchange experience in training personnel for industries in Uzbekistan.
