Uzbekistan delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoyev held a briefing for representatives of the leading British media, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London.

The briefing was attended by journalists representing The Economist, The Financial Times, The Guardian, BBC, bne IntelliNews and other print and electronic publications.

British journalists were informed about the progress of democratic reforms and transformations in Uzbekistan, the preparation process for the upcoming Presidential Elections on October 24, the state and prospects of Uzbekistan – British cooperation, including on regional development.
