First Deputy Chairman of the Senate holds meetings in Japan

Uzbekistan delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Safayev held bilateral meetings with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs M.Sato, Minister of Justice Y.Kamikawa, Vice President of Japan International Cooperation Agency N.Suzuki, Senior Advisor of Mitsubishi Corporation M.Sasaki.

Uzbekistan delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Safayev held bilateral meetings with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs M.Sato, Minister of Justice Y.Kamikawa, Vice President of Japan International Cooperation Agency N.Suzuki, Senior Advisor of Mitsubishi Corporation M.Sasaki.

Within the framework of the visit, an investment forum dedicated to Uzbekistan was held in the office of the World Bank.

The Japanese side expressed willingness to facilitate the transformation in Uzbekistan and implementation of high-tech and mutually beneficial projects in Uzbekistan.

It was noted that the results of the negotiations and events held in Tokyo inspire great optimism in terms of prospects of Uzbekistan – Japan cooperation, which is at the initial stage of transition to a new level of closer and more dynamic interaction based on established strategic partnership.
