The Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, met with the Head of the Center for Islamic Civilization under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Sciences Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

According to SPA, the leading news agency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as several publications such as Al Jazeera, Al Madina, and Youm7, during the dialogue held at the office of this international structure in Mecca, the importance of promoting Islamic civilization, especially in countering misconceptions and negative phenomena, was emphasized.

Mr. Abdukhalikov noted the activities of the MWL in the Islamic world and its international authority and highly appreciated the report of the Secretary General as a representative of Muslim peoples at the first international event devoted to the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, held at the United Nations Headquarters.
